JTA will once again host the jewelry industry and serve as an essential resource for education and products to empower the retail jeweler
The Fall edition of the Atlanta Jewelry Show, will be held in-person on October 23-24, 2021, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. This live gathering will be a two-day event preceded by an entire day of education, the ConnectED Pre-Show Conference, on Friday October 22.
Libby Brown, Executive Director of SJTA, said, “As we build upon our successful Spring SoHo Experience, we are delighted to host another event designed to drive our industry forward. With two full days of focused buying and networking, the October show will meet the needs of the modern retail jeweler at the perfect time to restock for the holiday season. If we learned anything from the past 16 months, it’s that the jewelry profession is resilient and flexible, and we are so proud to be part of such a powerful community.” Brown continued, “We are predicting another sold out show floor, and we encourage buyers to “Fall for Atlanta” and take advantage of this opportunity to connect with brands they know well and explore new possibilities.”
Retail buyers will have the opportunity to shop the latest designs, the most popular trends along with beloved brands, all featured under one roof during the two-day event. Pre-Registration is strongly encouraged and is now open at www.atlantajewelryshow.com/buyers/register/.
To kick off AJS Fall, GIA will present its Diamond Grading Lab Class (230L). This session will be held Tuesday, October 19 through
Saturday, October 23 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Registration will open in mid-July and is required. Spaces will be extremely limited. According to GIA, “through a unique combination of hands-on training, one-on-one coaching and multimedia, the Diamond Grading lab class explores how to grade diamonds consistently and accurately using a modern gem microscope and a loupe. Students will spend more than 16 hours practicing grading techniques on diamonds that were carefully selected and graded by GIA.” For further details, prospective students may send an email to [email protected].
Free Education: The ConnectED Conference, a full day of pre-show education, will be held on Friday, October 22 from 10:00am-6:00pm. SJTA Education Director Cindy Chandler states, “The industry has changed at an accelerated rate, and the ConnectED conference and its partners are here to help you navigate. I am looking forward to providing education and support that recognizes and addresses the direct and essential needs of the industry while offering real-time solutions.” The schedule will be posted on the AJS website in August, and pre-registration is required.
Guided by its Safety Shines™ Plan, the Atlanta Jewelry Show will again implement many health and safety measures for the event, all designed with the well-being of its attendees top of mind. These measures will be updated and published as the situation warrants.
