Reed Jewelry Group is proud to announce the latest addition to its JCK and Luxury events team with the appointment of Jim Fox to Portfolio Sales Director focused on industry and customer relations. Jim will be responsible for strategy, leadership and development within the JCK and Luxury sales team, as well as key account customer relationships of the jewelry industry’s leading events. The addition of this role will further JCK’s mission of becoming closer to its customers, extending the opportunity for the team to listen to their customers and act on their feedback.
Jim has over 20 years of sales and business development experience in the luxury goods sector. Having served as Sales Director in the Consumer Products Division of Swarovski for over nine years, he is also closely aligned with retail challenges and opportunities. He directed Swarovski’s licensed boutique business, creating 50 new stores and generating over $50 million in new business at casinos, airports and traditional retail outlets. Previously, his sales experience was within the fine writing instrument division of The Gillette Company. This experience gave him an insightful tour of luxury retail in partnership with such brands as Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and guild independent jewelers. Over the years, Jim has developed a service-oriented, consulting approach to sales, believing that one must truly understand a customer’s objectives, products and challenges in order to add value and make strategic suggestions that will ultimately drive business for both parties.
