Hawaii Jewelers Association's 2019 winners were announced at the annual Banquet and Design Competition on May 4, 2019. Guest speaker,Dr. James Shigley from GIA spoke on recent industry topics. Tom Wheeler provided the attendees with a brief history of HJA with heartfelt quoted memories from a few members The jovial atmosphere at Oahu Country Club was infectious as everyone celebrated the artistry, craft skills, and innovative designs created by fellow jewelry industry colleagues.
The evening celebrated Designer of the Year Chira Duval-Arnold of Aquagems and her piece "Pearl Change", [pictured].
