Christopher Designs Given Centurion Jewelry Award
L’Amour Diamond Ring Receives Award in ‘Diamond Classic’ Category for Design
Miami Beach, FL -- March 6, 2017 -- Centurion, the information hub for prestige jewelers, has chosen its winners of the 2017 Centurion Design Awards- and we are thrilled to announce Christopher Designs’ L’Amour ring won in the Design category of “Diamond Classic”.
The 12 categories of competition were: Bridal/Engagement Rings, Bridal/Wedding and Anniversary Bands, Colored Stone Classic, Colored Stone Fashion, Diamond Classic, Diamond Fashion, Gold, Mixed Precious Metals, Pearls, Platinum, Sterling Silver, and Watches.
Winners were announced via slideshow Monday evening during the Centurion Sweet 16 party sponsored by The Knot.
Christopher Designs L’Amour ring was one of twelve jewelry designs that were chosen as winners of the 2017 Centurion Design Awards. Every year, exhibitors at the Centurion Scottsdale Show are invited to submit a piece to the competition in one of the 12 categories, which are then voted on by the retailers attending the Show.
“We are absolutely honored to have been selected for this award. We take pride in what we do and it is great to be recognized for our custom work and designs”, says Slowinski.
The original Crisscut® was launched with great fanfare: the arrangement of the 77 (versus the generic 48) “crisscrossed” facets redefined just how brilliant a diamond could be. This facet arrangement was initially used for emerald shapes and later for the Crisscut® Cushion.
Christopher’s never-ending pursuit of perfection and focus on innovation led him to work on redefining the generic round as his next project. “I have always been intrigued with taking something established and making it even more beautiful,” explains Slowinski. “That’s why the technological side of jewelry making has always been as important as the aesthetic value of my collections.”
Christopher Designs is based out of New York City and is sold in stores in Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina.
