Gemesis Again Unveils World's Largest, Whitest Lab Grown Diamond

Gemesis - the world’s principal distributor of gem-quality lab-grown diamonds – now offers a 1.78 ct., G color, SI1 clarity, princess-cut lab-created diamond on Gemesis.com . Certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), this diamond – as with all Gemesis colorless lab-grown selections – is classified as the purest Type IIa (extremely rare in nature) and is also the largest, whitest diamond currently achieved.

This news follows Gemesis’ April 2013 presentation of a 1.29 ct., E color, VVS2 clarity, emerald-cut diamond, considered the world’s largest, whitest lab-grown diamond at that time.

Site-wide, Gemesis is continuing to offer advancements in carat sizes, and color and clarity grades, as well as a constant expansion of product offerings. As further evidence of the company’s progress, Gemesis.com’s current inventory also includes more than 1,200 VVS2 and VVS1 clarity grades – with 100-plus at the highly-desired VVS1 level – as well as a range of E and F color selections.

Gemesis also recently introduced pink lab-grown diamonds via its e-commerce site. Launched last month, the vibrant pinks join the brand’s existing selections – Type IIa colorless and fancy yellows, which are currently available in sizes upwards of 3.50 carats online. Gemesis engagement rings, wedding and anniversary bands, earrings and pendants are available in a variety of metals, including 14k and 18k white, rose and yellow gold, and platinum.

“We are delighted at the progress the lab-created category, and Gemesis in particular, has achieved,” said Gemesis management. “One of our ongoing goals at Gemesis is to continue to present high colors and quality with increased regularity to meet increasing consumer demand; and we are well on our way.”
