Atlanta Jewelry Show Records Increased Attendance

Attendees of the Fall, 2017 Atlanta Jewelry Show enjoyed three days packed with new products, new inspirations and expert advice, and were introduced to new programs and services designed to keep attendees engaged and informed beyond the trade show experience.

Building on the redesigned show floor plan first unveiled during the spring of 2017, the show introduced a central Plaza area, complete with a full-service bar, concierge assistance and music provided by an on-site DJ who kept the atmosphere upbeat and enjoyable.

Preliminary numbers show attendance up significantly at 8% year over year. 90 new stores visited the show for the first time, 62 hosted through its “Welcome Atlanta” program. 42 new vendors joined existing exhibitors in offering a wide variety of products and services over the course of the 3-day show.

The popular pre-show conference was back on Friday, August 11th, and offered a diverse selection of educational programs and speakers which kicked off an additional two days of learning for the comprehensive AJS U. The exclusive AJS U program makes it easier than ever for retailers to obtain and keep a Certified Jeweler Status, the designation that lets customers know a store is truly committed to ongoing education and quality customer service.

Several new elements created to increase interaction on the show floor and on the educational front made their debut during this event. The Atlanta Jewelry Show personal shopping guide application, which was introduced prior to the show, allowed attendees to personalize their show experience with seminars and exhibitors.

Additionally, hundreds of viewers were able participate in several live media events that took place during the Fall 2017 show. Through a partnership with Red Rocket Marketing, a handful of seminars and presentations were on the educational schedule were live-streamed during the three day event.

Libby Brown, Executive Director of the Atlanta Jewelry Show said, “The community and camaraderie you’ve come to expect at the AJS is still flavored with Southern hospitality, while bringing innovative ideas to make the show fresh each edition ensuring the success of buyers and sellers alike.”
