'Build a Watch' Announces Nationwide Tour

Build a Watch Announces Nationwide Tour Due to the success of recent classes,

AWCI has added more Build a Watch classes to their 2018 schedule.

The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute is taking their Build a Watch experience to cities across the country! After a great response to classes held in Cincinnati and Las Vegas and a sold out class next month in Columbia, Pennsylvania;

AWCI has added four new sessions:
* August 11th – 10am-4pm | Cincinnati, OH | Richter & Phillips Jewelers
* September 23rd – 11am-5pm | Detroit, MI | The Henry Hotel
* October 9th – 10am-4pm |Austin, TX | Holiday Inn
* October 14th – 10am-4pm |Austin, TX | Holiday Inn

The Build a Watch class is a must for any watch enthusiast or collector. With just 6 hours and a little help from the watchmaking professionals at AWCI, you can meticulously assemble your very own watch. As you build your ETA 6497 you’ll learn about proper lubrication, adjustments, servicing, timing, and regulation. To top it off, you’ll add the dial, hands, case, and straps. Watching it come together piece-by-piece is incredibly rewarding and something you must experience for yourself.

Not only will you leave with a deeper understanding of the watches you love, but also with a watch you built yourself.

Build a Watch is also a great experience for jewelry store employees as well, this class leaves store staff and salespeople with a better understanding of the timepieces they sell, what makes them tick, and the expertise it takes to repair them.
