Golf Outing Provides Support for Industry Families

2021 will mark the 13th year that Jewelers on the Fairway has united jewelry industry golfers to support a needed charity. To date, the event has raised over $500,000 for Hope & Heroes, a charity supporting cutting-edge research and the families of patients who need pediatric hematology, oncology and stem cell transplantation at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The center treats more than 1,500 patients each year, ensuring that every child has access to high quality, comprehensive care.

This year also marks the addition of support for the Diamond Industry Career Foundation, a charity directing funds to jewelry industry families in India who have been directly affected by Covid-19. Support is provided to unemployed individuals in the diamond industry, diamond merchants and qualified applicants, providing them food, education and medical insurance.

The event, which takes place on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Manhattan Woods Golf Club in West Nyack, NY is organized and co-chaired by Larry Gordon, LG Diamond Co/Shreeji Jewelry; Samir Mehta, Indigo Jewelry and Steven Lerche, Goldstar Jewellery. The day of camaraderie and giving back will start with check-in at 10:30am, brunch and warm up at 11am, ‘shotgun start’ at noon, followed by cocktails, dinner and awards at 5pm.

Single player participation for new participants starts at $750.00 and goes up to a variety of player package and non-player package sponsorships that provide numerous levels of awareness, signage and recognition at the event and on the website. All proceeds will benefit the two named charities.
