Miami-Based Agency Offers Post Covid Business Support for European Jewelry Brands
Sobe Luxury Services, the distribution, sales and marketing agency for fine jewelry brands from Italy including Chantecler, Gismondi 1754, and Vendorafa announces a new business division to support and streamline business operations and strategies in the post Covid fine jewelry industry. The division, SOBE LUXURY LOGISTICS, will be headed by Paola Bertoli, based out of the Miami office, who will function as its director of services.
"This is a creation of the necessity for brands to have more direct, curated and specific business support as the industry prepares to emerge", according to Massimo Zerbini. "Learning from past history experience, and the extreme situations like the one we have all been facing globally, we know that those who evolve and adapt, rethink and pivot their operations and structure are best able to survive", he continued. The Italian market is set to open on May 4, with the American corporate offices, showrooms, stores, warehouses and buying offices scheduled to open in most major markets before the end of the month.
With budgets cut and offices and showrooms in limbo the logistic services may be best outsourced for time, efficiency and cost saving in what was already a difficult and highly specialized market. This is particularly key as it relates to the vastly different American market set to emerge from quarantine in the coming weeks. As of June 1, 2020, SOBE LUXURY LOGISTICS will offer customer service and logistics support for European brands without offices in the US territory. In addition, repairs, restoration, returns, shipping and landing, warehousing, stock and storage as well as carnet or sales delivery paperwork, processing, shipping and insurance will be part of their offerings. The new division will also offer the facilitation of all aspects of chain of custody for goods for retail and e-commerce, trunk shows and private events or editorial needs. Payment processing is also available as needed.
"It will be seen in the coming months what the new sales structure for successful distribution will be as the quarantine opens the US market, but we know that many of the independent brands can not sustain their business operations and have been asking for guidance, and support for specific services we can offer 'a la carte'," said Massimo Zerbini. "It will not effect our ability to offer full service sales and marketing to our current client roster, rather supplement both our income and apply our specific expertise in these areas to brands in need as we all navigate the new normal and how we can be most successful in the US", he continued.
