Frederick Goldman Inc. commemorates the 100th birthday of founder Frederick Goldman and his enduring legacy, values, and passion with the company’s first celebration of Founder’s Day.
Fred Goldman started the company in 1948 as a one-man operation specializing in plain wedding rings and began a family tradition of excellence that now spans over 70 years. This once small company, now run by sons Jonathan and Richard Goldman, has grown to become one of the largest jewelry manufacturing companies in North America across three separate divisions serving all retail channels of distribution.
“On, January 12th, we celebrate our father Frederick’s 100th Birthday,” said Jonathan Goldman, CEO of Frederick Goldman, Inc. “My father used to have an expression: “Trifles make perfection and perfection is no trifle.” He ran his business that way. If he were here, he would be amazed at what we have accomplished through the incredible talent and dedication of our employees and with our valued customers.”
Frederick Goldman - the man and his eponymous company - have always been committed to helping celebrate life’s special moments. On this important anniversary, Frederick Goldman proudly announces a generous gift to Jewelers for Children in honor of Fred’s birthday and in appreciation of the company’s employees and retail partners who have been the cornerstone of the company since its founding in 1948.
David Rocha, Executive Director, Jewelers for Children noted “it is tremendously gratifying that Frederick Goldman, Inc., has chosen Jewelers for Children to receive a donation in honor of their employees and customers on what would have been the 100th birthday of their founder. Goldman has been a JFC supporter since our inception and Jonathan Goldman served as the first chairman of the JFC board. We could not be happier to have them continuing to support children in need.”
The success of Frederick Goldman, Inc. is the result of years of uncompromising dedication to a never-ending quest for excellence. Today, on the company’s inaugural Founder’s Day, the company proudly unveils a new corporate logo, transitioning from Frederick Goldman’s own signature to a refreshed, more contemporary design. Goldman, which has evolved dramatically over the past few decades from a company that was known primarily for plain wedding bands to a portfolio of bridal and jewelry brands that is linked with hand crafted treasures, now evolves its own corporate image to lead the company into a new centennial.
