On Monday, November 7, this year’s Traditional Home Classic Woman honorees were honored at a luncheon at New York’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Each of the five women were presented with an award and a check from Traditional Home by Ann Maine, Editor in Chief, and Natalie Morales of NBC, who served as co-host of the event. The presentations followed videos describing each honoree’s area of volunteerism. At the close of the luncheon, Michael Barlerin, SPS Director, congratulated the women on their exceptional work and gifted each with a sterling silver cuff from American Estate Jewelry.
On display in the reception area prior to the event were large portraits of the Classic Woman honorees. These same pictures also appeared in the November/December 2011 issue of Traditional Home. For the photography session, the women were accessorized with jewelry provided by SPS. The items featured in the section were from SilverMark Partners bastian inverun, Charles Garnier, Dobbs Boston, Links of London, Metalsmiths Sterling, and Thistle & Bee.
Commenting on the event, Barlerin said, “We could not be happier about the relationship with Traditional Home, with the magazine feature and with the luncheon. We were also proud to be able to present these truly exceptional women a beautiful piece of jewelry in tribute to their extraordinary efforts for the benefit of others.”
