CHARRIOL is an independent, family-run business based in Geneva, Switzerland. The company is led by founder Philippe Charriol, alongside his wife Marie-Olga Charriol as World Public Relation Director, elder daughter Coralie Charriol-Paul as Creative Director and son Alexandre Charriol as Visual Director.
Despite recessed business in the watch industry and strong competition dictated by main luxury groups, the brand maintained momentum in 2016. The brand has a large presence in the Middle East and Asia, expanding in the USA and remains stable in Central America and Europe. It continues to consolidate its retail network and now boasts a network of 285 CHARRIOL Boutiques (including 225 stores in China).
During 2016, the unique craftsmanship and creativity of the House were seen in new watch collections such as FOREVER, an exuberant and easy-to-wear unisex line characterised by clean lines and pops of colour, or jewellery lines as LAETITIA, an ultra-feminine range of bangles and rings adorned with symbols representing joy, love, nature and eternity.
The 2017 creations play with daring new colour palettes, from bold and vibrant shades to soft pastels. CHARRIOL’s core DNA, the signature Celtic twisted cable motif, remains at the heart of each design, as elegant and timeless today as it was when it first appeared over three decades ago.
Designer Coralie Charriol Paul takes the cable a step further in her jewellery designs, showcasing the cable both in modern and classic ways. New SUGAR jewellery collection showcases chic and versatile pieces with exquisite blend of silver droplets and cable accents. Along with the Sugar collection, a wide portfolio of new jewellery lines – PONT D’AMOUR, INFINITY ZEN, LES DEBUTANTES and MALIA will be presented at this year's JCK show. Each collection, including timepieces, has a different spin on the beloved Charriol trademark.
