Can you name one thing Oklahoma City, OK, and Louisville, KY have in common? The American Gem Society (AGS) can: the two cities are future locations for the AGS Conclave.
The 2022 Conclave will be in Oklahoma at the Oklahoma City Omni Hotel, April 25–27. In 2023, Conclave heads to Kentucky, May 1–3, and will take place at the Omni Louisville Hotel.
“One of our main goals as we plan Conclave is to provide a different experience each year. We never rely on successes of the past,” said Alexis Padis, CGA, Chair of the AGS Conclave Committee, and Secretary on the AGS Board of Directors. “While the distinctive sessions and networking events are a key component, the host city of each Conclave is a huge part of what makes the annual experience so unique and special. No two Conclaves are ever alike.”
“Members will even refer to their favorite Conclaves of the past by the city. Whatever town we are in becomes our home for several days, and I’m incredibly excited to experience Conclave in both of these wonderful locations—but first, onward to Dallas,” said Padis, referencing the location of the 2021 Conclave, Dallas, Texas.
AGS recently announced that Conclave 2021 will be held September 12–14 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. Leading national speakers Henry Winkler, Josh Linkner, and Amelia Rose Earhart are giving keynote presentations. The American Gem Society would like to acknowledge and thank Jewelers Mutual Group, who will return as the Presenting Sponsor for Conclave in the fall.
