The Atlanta Jewelry Show is pleased to confirm its Fall Show will go on as scheduled, October 24-25 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, with the AJS ConnectED Conference taking place on Friday, October 23.
“Although this show may look a bit different, it will be the same great experience our attendees know, love and expect,” said SJTA Executive Director Libby Brown. “The overwhelmingly positive response we have received from our community is what motivates our team to push forward, even during times of uncertainty. We cannot thank our vendors, retailers and show partners enough for their support and guidance. We may not be able to do much hugging at the show, but our appreciation is strong nonetheless,” she continued.
The Atlanta Jewelry Show’s mission is to showcase thought-leaders that can help retailers transform their businesses for success and ready them to weather change. The ConnectED Pre-Show Conference will occur on Friday, October 23, kicking off with Lunch & Learn sponsored by ClearSale and Punchmark. Education Director, Cindy Chandler says, “We speak about retail undergoing seismic shifts as it continues to evolve to meet shoppers’ needs. Never has this been truer than now. That’s why we’re pleased to have the opportunity to deliver the cutting-edge insight that retail businesses will benefit from now and in the future.” See ConnectED Conference schedule here: https://www.atlantajewelryshow.com/ajs-connected/ajs-u/
Nearly 600 retail stores have registered to attend the October event, and with more than three weeks until the show, show management expects that number to increase daily. “We are thrilled about going to the Atlanta show. Since we have not been able to buy inventory basically all year, we are more than ready to buy,” states Brandon Anthony, Owner of Chattanooga Jewelry Company.
To date, over 120 vendors are planning to be featured on the show floor, with everything from designer pieces, classic and vintage styles to current and future trends in jewelry. Kim International President Mike Kim shared, “KIM is excited to participate in the October Atlanta Jewelry Show. With most of our retailers reporting fabulous business in July, August, and September, they now have to replace the inventory that they sold. We applaud the Atlanta Jewelry Show for creating this marketplace – just in time for the holiday season. Plus, everyone is looking forward to getting together with our industry friends after being cooped up for the past six months. We know it’s going to be a great show with fantastic turnout. We can’t wait!!
Show management is confident in its decision to move forward as planned, and as always, is committed to the health and well-being of attendees. All attendees should expect to experience daily temperature scans and will be required to wear a mask. Enhanced cleaning and safety protocols will be implemented, and physical distancing will be incorporated into onsite experiences. As the event nears, AJS will continue to follow updated guidelines and release new information as it becomes available.
Pre-Registration is required, as no walk-ins will be allowed.
