Plumb Club Elects Officers And New Board Leaders

At its first-ever virtual General Membership meeting, members of The Plumb Club voted today on board positions, re-electing some current members and bringing on new leadership.

New to the board is Kristie Nicolosi, President and CEO of The Kingswood Company, the jewelry industry’s leading supplier of private-label fine jewelry care products. Nicolosi has also served as a National Board Member and Treasurer of The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) and as Board Member and Treasurer of The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio.

New to the Executive Committee, as Secretary, is Corinna Bhasin, Vice President and General Manager of FD Worldwide Merchandise Group, a leading fine jewelry merchandising and manufacturing supply partner to major jewelry retailers worldwide.

Roger Forman, Owner of Marathon Company, a third-generation family business founded in 1897 and the leading manufacturer of children’s jewelry in the US, will return to the Executive Committee as Treasurer from his previous appointment as Secretary.

Returning to the board for a second 2-year term is A.J. Tosyali, President of Benchmark Wedding Rings, a US based award-winning manufacturer of meticulously designed wedding bands for over 50 years, as well as Pranav Shah, CEO of KGS Jewels, a fourth-generation family-owned diamond and jewelry manufacturer, established in 1967.

Leaving the board after reaching his term limit of six years is Michael Langhammer, CEO of Quality Gold, a renowned and trusted manufacturer with worldwide presence and offices in the USA, Canada, Italy and India.

Michael Lerche, President of Gold Star Jewellery will be completing his final 1-year term as President of The Plumb Club and Sam Sandberg, Chairman at A. Jaffe, will continue as Vice President.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kristie Nicolosi to the board,” said Michael Lerche. “Her contributions to The Club have already made their mark and we look forward to having her insights and talent on the board. We are happy to welcome Corinna Bhasin to the Executive Committee. Her help on the board has been invaluable. The returning board members, Sam Sandberg, Roger Forman, A.J. Tosyali and Pranav Shah have been a huge asset to The Club and we are thrilled to have them continue. Of course, we are sorry to see Michael Langhammer leave the board and we thank him for all the time and dedication that he has provided to our association during his term.”
