The Atlanta Jewelry Show launches a new program, AJS ConnectED. This innovative project will expand upon the well-established catalog of resources that the Atlanta Jewelry Show has been providing the jewelry industry for 70 years. In addition to outstanding onsite education (AJS-U), the inspiring Kids Jewelry Camp and the popular CAD CAM Challenge, AJS ConnectED will host a webinar series, online workshops, and other opportunities to keep the AJS community connected year-round.
The Webinar Series will feature the industry’s most respected entrepreneurs and thought leaders throughout the weekly event. The free series will launch on Tuesday, June 2, and continue each Tuesday throughout the summer and fall. Cindy Chandler, AJS Education Director, believes “These webinars will be outstanding webinars. We are overwhelmed with online events, so we have designed this series to offer a different approach. Practical, instructional, and actionable content that will literally guide virtual attendees step-by-step, with “how-to” tips to implement in every day, real life. No talking heads here,” Chandler continues.
Cindy Chandler knows the worlds of fine jewelry and retail inside out. After earning her Graduate Gemologist diploma from the GIA, she became an instructor at GIA. Cindy then held various management roles at Macy’s which sparked a lifelong passion for mentoring and educating retail jewelers. This led her to the American Gem Society, where she served as Deputy Executive Director. As Education Director for the Atlanta Jewelry Show, Cindy continues to empower the AJS community with her knowledge, experience, and love of the business.
Interested attendees should visit https://www.atlantajewelryshow.com/ajs-connected/ to register and view the full webinar schedule, and make sure to check often as the site will be regularly updated with new additions. Announcements for AJS ConnectED programming will also appear on AJS Facebook, Instagram and Linked In pages, so prospective attendees should follow those pages for the latest information.
The semi-annual show, which celebrates the 70th anniversary of SJTA, will take place Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
